In order to become an ERC accredited Instructor you will need to follow the steps below:

STEP 1: Become a Provider

✔ Complete and pass the Provider Course

➡ Status: Provider (+ Instructor Potential IP for Advanced courses)

STEP 2: Become an Instructor Candidate

✔ Complete the Basic Instructor Course (BIC) for BLS and PBLS
✔ Complete the General Instructor Course (GIC) for ALS, ILS and EPALS, EPILS and NLS

➡ Status: Instructor Candidate

STEP 3: Become an Instructor

✔ Successfully teach on 2 Provider Courses within the 3 years of your recertification period

➡ Status: Instructor
