Course Rules 5.1.2:The CD is responsible for the composition of the faculty.
The minimum Criteria are:
- The number of IC’s should never exceed the number of instructors, with a maximum of 1 IC per group
- The minimum faculty for BLS and PBLS courses is 1 FI per 8 participants.
- The minimum faculty for BIC, ILS and EPILS courses is 1 FI per 6 participants.
- The minimum faculty for ALS, EPALS, NLS & GIC courses is 1FI per 3 participants.
- In case a CC has to increase the ratio, the specific reason must be presented to the NRC or the SEC for approval.
- All advanced courses should have a multidisciplinary faculty
- The CD and the CDC do NOT count as FI in advanced courses with more than 6 participants.
When more participants are added to the course that the ratio states a message will appear:

- By clicking on Request exception following will appear:
Fill in the maximum number of participants per instructor - Fill in the justification for this.

- After clicking on the request exception button, the request will be sent to the NRC (if self-sufficient) or the SEC.
